The ILEAS Training Center has two computer labs. Each lab is identical in layout and capabilities:

• 1 instructor computer that can act as a server for the entire classroom.
• 15 student computers with 19” flat panel monitors.
• State of the art audio visual system, including a 50” plasma television that an instructor can use to replicate his own monitor for the students.
• Internet access through a shared T1 connection and WiFi access.
• Handicap accessible tables with 30” clearance.

The computers are high end desktops with the following specifications:

• E8400 Core2 Duo processor with 6 M Cache
• 2G RAM (4G for instructors)
• 160G hard drives (.5 TB for instructors)
• 5 year warranties
• Windows XP Professional

These two computer labs can be used for many different purposes, but the most common application will be training to use new software systems. For example, the classrooms were designed with the expectation of providing future ICLEAR training for law enforcement around the State.
